Helping organisations boost workforce productivity and performance, Saffron Interactive’s AI enabled skills coach, AIDA, has been shortlisted for ‘Most Innovative New Learning Technologies Product (UK)’ at the 2023 LT Awards.
Many organisations are starting to use AI, but this has generally been focussed on content generation. Saffron have instead developed a new innovative product offering a personalised coaching experience that democratises and accelerates workforce performance and productivity across entire organisations.
The digital, AI enabled development assistant takes users through a guided journey that combines tested and proven coaching techniques and Saffron’s 23-year history of delivering measurable behaviour change to motivate and engender upskilling and reskilling. The platform provides employees with 24/7 tailored support, offers line managers access to real-time data on performance improvement and helps organisations utilise existing learning resources through the production of personalised development pathways and action plans.
By integrating voice, video and text recognition with sentiment analysis at an advanced level of AI, AIDA provides a scalable solution to providing high-quality coaching for every employee – and the ability to measure the results.
Saffron’s Director, Noorie Sazen, had this to say when reflecting on the platform’s shortlisting: “We recognised a significant gap in the ability for organisations to provide coaching across their entire workforce. Coaching is a well-recognised method of performance improvement but is often reserved for senior team members. So, we made it our mission to develop a method of democratising this approach and allowing businesses to measure the impact of their skills coaching programmes – something often unattainable with more traditional strategies”.
AIDA has shown to be a powerful tool in cultivating and restoring confidence and motivation, two key barriers to successful skills development. By using empathetic conversations that allow users to understand where they are and identify the action they need to take, 92% of the platform’s users are more ready and confident about developing their skills and engaging with learning inside and outside their organisations.
Using innovation, with purpose, is central to Saffron’s success, having won several accolades for developing new technologies. The team are hoping to build on their most recent achievement, after taking home the ‘Innovation in Learning’ award at the LPI’s Learning Awards earlier this year, for their ground-breaking Samaritans Veterans App.
Shortlisting presentations for the awards are now underway, with the winners due to be announced in a gala evening on 15th November 2023. Saffron is looking forward to celebrating success, innovation and continued excellence across the industry.
